Plaza Fernando Valerio (Santiago League) inked American swingman Cameron Mitchell (196-98kg, college: IU Southeast). He played recently at Santiago Basket in the United Cup (Copa Mitchell). Mitchell received Latinbasket.com All-Mitchell Americas Cup 1st Team award along with Player of the Year honors.

He has played also professionally in Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis).

Mitchell graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 2014 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
